Hero Background
Faith & Doctrine

What We Believe.

Our faith is rooted in the Word of God, the saving grace of Jesus Christ, and the call to walk in holiness and truth.

Immutable Truth

Our Theological Foundations.

Hope for Living Ministries stands upon the unchanging truth of God's Word. Our desire is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, call souls to repentance, and lead believers into a life of holiness, obedience, and faithfulness before the Lord.

The Word

The Bible.

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet..."

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is our final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, and daily living.

Scripture References

2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Psalm 119:105

The Godhead

The Trinity.

Three Persons, One God.

We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things and the Sustainer of life.

The Father

God the Father is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, sovereign in power, perfect in holiness, and faithful in all His ways.

The Son

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His atoning death, His resurrection, and His promised return.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the present work of the Holy Spirit, who convicts, comforts, empowers, and leads believers in truth.

Redemption

Gift of Salvation.

Saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe salvation is God's gift to lost and sinful people, made possible through Jesus Christ and applied by the work of the Holy Spirit.

Justification

We are declared righteous before God through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ.

Sanctification

We are called to grow in grace as the Lord shapes our lives to reflect Christ.

Glorification

We look forward to the final hope of the believer, when we shall be with the Lord forever.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God."
— Ephesians 2:8

Christian Life

A Life of Faithfulness.

Faith lived out, day by day.

We believe that true faith is not only confessed but lived — expressed in worship, in growth, and in service as we walk daily with Christ.

Worship

We gather to honor the Lord through prayer, praise, preaching, and fellowship, seeking to worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Discipleship

We believe believers are called to grow in faith, study the Scriptures, and follow Christ in daily life.

Service

We believe faith is lived out through love, humility, and service to others, reflecting the grace we have received in Christ.

Ordinances

Baptism & Communion.

Sacred acts of obedience and remembrance.

We believe baptism and communion are sacred acts of faith that point us to the death, burial, resurrection, and promised return of Jesus Christ.

Baptism

We follow the Lord in water baptism as a public confession of faith, picturing the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and a life made new in Him.

The Lord's Supper

We observe communion in remembrance of the body and blood of Christ, examining our hearts before God and proclaiming His death until He comes.

"For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come."
— 1 Corinthians 11:26

The Church

The Body of Christ.

Called, gathered, and awaiting His return.

We believe the church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, preach the Gospel, make disciples, and remain faithful until the coming of the Lord.

The Body of Christ

The church is the people of God, joined together in Christ to worship Him, build one another up in the faith, and bear witness to His grace.

Our Mission

We are called to preach the Gospel, make disciples of all nations, and serve the Lord faithfully in holiness and truth.

The Blessed Hope

We await the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, watching and ready, living holy lives as we look for His glorious appearing.

"Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ."
— Titus 2:13
