Outreach Ministry

The Outreach Ministry carries the Gospel beyond our walls into the streets, the highways, and the hedges, calling sinners to repentance and meeting the needs of the broken with the compassion of Christ.

The Lord Jesus did not leave His commission to be admired; He left it to be obeyed: "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15). The Outreach Ministry of Hope for Living Ministries exists to take that holy charge beyond the sanctuary and into the streets, the highways, and the hedges, compelling the lost to come in (Luke 14:23). We do not water down the message to win a crowd; we lift up the blood of Jesus, preach repentance and holiness, and trust the Holy Ghost to convict, to save, and to sanctify. The fields are white already to harvest, and we labor while it is day.

Our work is both the spoken Word and the open hand. We go house to house in visitation, carry the Gospel to the hospital, the prison, and the shut-in, and we minister to the poor, the hungry, and the stranger. For the King has said, "I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat... Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me" (Matthew 25:35-40). Compassion without Christ is empty, and preaching without love is barren; we bring both, in the power of the Spirit.

This ministry serves every soul outside the ark of safety, that none should perish but come to repentance. If you long to be a soul-winner, "they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever" (Daniel 12:3). Come labor in the harvest.
