Children's Ministry

Our Children's Ministry labors to plant the fear of the Lord in the young and to train up each child in the way he should go, that the Word of God might be written upon his heart from his earliest years.

The Lord Jesus said, "Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven" (Matt. 19:14). We hold the souls of our children as a sacred trust, and we will not wait until they are grown to set before them the way of holiness. From the youngest age we teach them to know the Lord, to love His Word, and to walk in obedience and the fear of God, for "the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom" (Prov. 9:10).

In Sunday school and age-appropriate teaching, anointed teachers open the Scriptures plainly, that little ones may hear the truth of sin and the cross, of repentance and the new birth, and of a clean heart that God still gives. We obey the charge of Deuteronomy 6:6-7, that His words "shall be in thine heart... and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children." We aim not merely to entertain but to disciple, that each child may grow up to be filled with the Holy Ghost and kept by the power of God.

This ministry serves the families of our church and every child the Lord sends to our doors. "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it" (Prov. 22:6). With prayer and patient labor we sow the incorruptible seed of the Word, trusting God to raise a generation that loves Christ, walks holy, and waits for His soon return.
